Our Second Anniversary

IT’S OUR ANNIVERSARY!

Two years ago we published our book, Near the Danube Bridge. After our initial Book Launch Party, we began entering festivals and winning book awards.  We’ve traveled to galas in Phoenix, New York, and Las Vegas to accept awards and attend seminars.

Fans in Europe have read it, and a book fair in Stuttgart featured it.

Several libraries in California and Nevada have it on their shelves and in their data bases.

FAVORITE NEW REVIEWS

“Reading this book “Near the Danube Bridge “ was … timely … [considering] what’s going on in our world today. It’s hard to imagine this was all going on in my youth living in the United States. The persecution this family went through for being believers was unimaginable. I’m so happy that this history has been captured on pages and their story was told. This is history that was well documented.”

“The writing is vivid and heartfelt, and I could feel the pain, hope, and determination in every chapter. Catherine Allen-Walters did a wonderful job bringing his experiences to life. It’s both heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time.”

“I was completely absorbed by Kalman’s journey from a comfortable childhood to the unimaginable hardships he faced. His courage and faith in the midst of cruelty were remarkable. I could feel the fear and resilience in every moment, especially during his time in prison. I liked how it didn’t shy away from the brutal realities, but it also highlighted hope. By the end, I was rooting for Kalman and Minka every step of the way.”
“This story was so interesting, absolutely heartbreaking, and just truly remarkable. “
“Kalman Hartig’s story is unforgettable. His bravery and determination to survive against overwhelming odds are inspiring.”
